Nepal is a country in south asia. East asian culture has this long running tradition of dominating women in every sphere of life. They are subjected to remain just inside four walls of house. They are expected to be involved only in household activities. This tradition makes women more vulnerable to poverty by reducing the chance of women for exposure in different fields. The patriarchal society expects women to be slave of tradition.Men are considered the head of family and women are expected to ask men for even minute decisions. Women are not economically independent in most houses. And women must break this culture of having to stay at house, expending energy on unpaid works. They must be independent.Only when women are independent it will become easier for women to speak up for themselves and others.Independence gives self motivation, confidence, energy to fight against these cultural practices.
