Amirah is a safe house for those escaping the bonds of human trafficking. Amirah is establishing our first home for women 18+ on the North Shore of Massachusetts as a long-term, residential facility dedicated to providing a safe place for healing, restoration and re-integration. Residents are either U.S citizens or foreign-born nationals, emerging from any form of human trafficking (domestic or international trafficking; sex and/or labor trafficking, or forced servitude). Through Individual Care Plans, we seek to address the physical, social, mental, emotional, spiritual and vocational needs of each woman in our care. Partnering with law enforcement and other non-profits, we work together to identify program participants and provide the most effective care program based on individual needs. Our penultimate goal is to expand our services to multiple safe homes; our ultimate goal is to empower each person who comes through an Amirah House to realize their full potential and attain their rightful place as a productive member of society.
