The PCRF locates and arranges cost-free surgical care for sick and injured children in the Middle East by sending children abroad for donated treatment in the US, Europe, or other parts of the Middle East. Since being established in 1991, the PCRF has sent over 900 children abroad for donated care, while treating thousands more through the PCRF's international, volunteer medical missions. In addition to arranging expert surgical care for children, the PCRF also provides emergency aid and other humanitarian services for children and their families, which include diaper and powdered milk distributions for needy families, eyeglass distributions for school children, wheelchairs distributions for the disabled, a child sponsorship program, summer camps for disabled children and a women's empowerment project.
