Our goal is to improve the lives of Refugees coming to the Austin Area by easing the relocation and settling experience. Syrian Refugees are in our immediate focus. We believe that through empowerment and coaching, the Refugees will become self-sufficient and contributing members of society. We have developed and are still developing partnerships with communities, businesses, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations to maximize our resources. With your help, support and donations we will be better equipped to respond to the needs as they arise. SARA’s strength is derived from your strong support and participation.

Project Milestones

SARA aims to support the advancement of Syrian refugee women settled to the Austin area through learned skills. These women are faced with many challenges during their transition to the States because of their inability to speak English, Lack of Education, Culture differences, and they cannot drive or maneuver a large unfamiliar place. With your support we truly hope we can help to ease their transition, empower them, ensure their kids succeed and help them build a bright future The fund raised in this project will go towards  

1. Learn technical skills needed for employment 

2. Trade School Programs

3. Transportation

4. Computers and internet 

5. General support until they can earn an income (ie. rent, utilities, food, child support)
