This is not a famine. It’s intentional starvation — a manmade crisis enforced by Israel’s blockade and destruction of aid routes. Food is being used as a weapon of war. Families are collapsing from hunger. Children are dying from dehydration. This is collective punishment, and it must be called out.
ConnectHER, a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying global women’s issues through film and storytelling, has been working closely with young filmmakers and activists in Gaza for years. Since the start of the war, we’ve been providing direct aid — including food, clean water, shelter, baby formula, and other necessities— in partnership with trusted local teams. We are launching this campaign in partnership with and at the request of our Gazan collaborators, who are leading extraordinary grassroots relief efforts under unimaginable conditions.
💔 Children are starving.
💔 Aid is blocked.
💔 Your donation is their lifeline.

We invite you to fast from sunup to sundown, on any day that works for you, in solidarity with Gaza.
Whether you fast once or often, alone or with others - your intention matters. Your action matters.
💔 Walks for hours in heat, just for bread.
💔 No water. No medicine. No safe shelter.
💔 This is not survival — it’s resistance.
Fast. Give. Share. Speak up.
This series, Inside Gaza: Relief from the Ground, features footage and stories directly from our partners in Gaza — documenting emergency relief efforts, resilience in crisis, and the people helping their own communities survive. They’ve asked us to help make their voices heard.
Note: Our partners on the ground in Gaza have asked us to emphasize that those with chronic illnesses or medical conditions should not fast if it may harm their health.
If you’re unable to fast, you can still stand in solidarity by:
- Donating what you would have spent on food
- Sharing the campaign with your networks
- Supporting the BDS movement by boycotting companies complicit in the occupation
