Worth the splurge… OK, this one isn’t cheap, but if you want to learn from the master, you can take a Master Class on documentary filmmaking from Ken Burns. His documentaries on iconic American subjects like the Civil War, baseball, and national parks are classics. You’ll learn how to structure a documentary narrative, where to find archival materials, how to interview your subjects and much more.
