"The girls are studying in different classes with the support of ConnectHER. A girl is preparing to be admitted to university after passing Higher Secondary Certificate this year."

Help Hazera provide a safe home and education for children.

Our project partner, Hazera Begum, understands the daily struggle for dignity and safety that is the lot of sex workers in Bangladesh. Sex workers’ children, too, are too often stigmatized and deprived of their rights, including the right to an education. That’s why she opened her group home in Bangladesh for children, many of them children of sex workers. She is determined to provide a safe, loving home for “her 40 children,” aged 4 to 16, and to ensure that all of the girls get an education. Many studies show that educating the children of sex workers helps break the cycle of exploitation. Give generously and help Hazera give these kids the bright future that every child deserves.
