We were approached by friends at Asian University for Women in Chittagong about the possibility of partnering to help sponsor the first ever Chittagong International All Women Film Festival. When we asked about the history of the event, we learned that they had tried to have this film festival in the past, but "no one wanted to sponsor stories about girls." Well, that was all we needed to hear! We were fortunate to partner with Films for Us and AUW to make this event celebrating the lives and stories of women and girls possible. 

 

During the festival, they screened 10 ConnectHER Films along with festival entries, there were live performances and awards in categories like Best Fiction and Best Documentary. It's so exciting to be growing the network of aligned film festivals that focus on impacting the lives of women and girls.
