Meet Marne Keller-Krikava, Our Newest Board Member!
We are thrilled to welcome Marne Keller-Krikava to the ConnecHER board. Marne brings to our board 30+ years of business experience and a passion for investing in women and girls. After retiring as president and CEO of J. J. Keller and Associates, in 2018 she founded the Invest in Her Foundation, which provides grants to organizations and initiatives that align with their mission of providing opportunities for women and girls.
What a perfect match for ConnectHER! We invest in women and girls around the world by supporting locally led projects in such areas as education, maternal health, livelihood training, and women’s empowerment.
That's why Marne has laid down a challenge to help us multiply our impact. For every new Gem we sign up before November, her Invest in Her Foundation will match up to $25,000. ConnectHER Gems are a community of our most dedicated advocates and supporters. Gems help sustain and scale ConnectHER’s work, including our global women’s projects and our youth film festival.
“Being a Gem is a great way to feel connected to the people you are helping,” she says. “You don’t have to be a huge donor like the Gates Foundation to make a difference. Big changes happen one person at a time.”
